Apart from that, universities also play a role in producing students who will later become professionals and policy makers in the health sector.
The next resource person is Dr. Fitri Rahmawati, M.Pd., with her material “Adjusting Diet in the Family to Prevent Diabetes Mellitus” said that one way to prevent Diabetes Mellitus is with a balanced diet (55% Carbohydrates, 15% Protein, and 25% Fat ). Fitri Rahmawati also added that physical activity such as exercise is no less important for at least 30 minutes every day. Apart from that, adequate rest, stress control and a healthy environment also need to be considered. Also avoid things that can damage your health such as consuming tobacco and alcohol.
The third session of the seminar with the title “Cure Diabetes Without Medicine and Concoctions with Breath Exercises” invited a resource person from Miracle of Breath Indonesia, Eko Yudo Tamtomo. Eko himself realized that breathing exercises could lower blood sugar levels after reading various literature and research and practicing it almost every day. It is also important to remember that diabetes sufferers have limitations, namely limited food choices and limited mental management. Therefore, with the right way of thinking and the right diet, diabetes sufferers can recover completely. In the final session of this seminar, Eko invited all participants present to practice breathing together. (Khairani Faizah
